Taking wild quarry in its natural state by means of a trained raptor.

Falconry originated several thousand years ago somewhere in Asia. In 2010, the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) added falconry to its list of Intangible Cultural Heritages of Humanity.

Virtually everything we know about managing raptors today has come from falconry. This includes raptor husbandry, training, captive breeding, and various methods of trapping. Many falconers (including ourselves) have gone into researching and educating others about the importance of birds of prey as a career. We appreciate the majesty of raptors and hope that we can use these as icons to conserve other wildlife and wild lands by educating others. Click here to learn more about falconry.
